NFL season is well underway...my Bills, maann...at least we won this past weekend, but yyooo...can we get it togetha! let's beat these weaker teams, then we on our way...am not sure about Coach Jauron...we'll see. Vick who? Favre's how old?!? T.O. who? Ravens, Pats game was a good one, this past weekend, Saints are scoring at ease, Redskins aren't scoring at easy...rite now, am going wit Saints, Vikes inda NFC, AFC, i'ma take...tough one...Broncos, they need to show me a lil more, although that D does look official. Pats, and...Steelers...Broncs, Bengals...n a few other strong, but not dominating teams need to come togetha a lil more, before we count out da bulls from these past years.
as u may, may not know...jus wrapped up The Afterparty, which is my 9th project, since 05/07. since then, i've made many connections, with mcs, producers. i've elevated my sound, every project. mix my own sh!t, seen my mixing get better....all in all, it's been a work in progress. is, a work in progress. as i head into my next projects, i continue to expect nuttin but da best from myself, n those i work wit. Pangea, my next solo project...sh!ts gon'a b deep. storytelling, social commentary. a lil more serious, content wise, in comparison to say, Cookout or Afterparty. a project like that, is needed rite now.
Transatlantic...that's me n my mans, PLB. i've spoken about him before, he's from France...16 yr old, wit maaadd talent yo. we gon'a do a quick 8 track project. lil serving, for now. we're talkin about doing a full length project...that's all i'll say for now, lol.

Rock the Bells, working on The Afterparty, working on The Transatlantic EP, saw the Wailers kill it live, coppin new kicks....etc, etc.
i've been in da lab (my crib, lol) gettin as creative as i want! ha! things are soundin right for The Afterparty. i'm lookin forward to sharing it.
i've been gettin heaters from Pulse, Clever...they bringin they usual A game. i've also been in touch wit PLB (France) in regards to The Transatlantic joint...he's been sendin me beats, ideas. u'll see Transatlantic later this year. it's all Afterparty rite now.
following up the Afterparty, we gon'a do a mixtape called The Hangover, in which my mans, Dj Smallz (OC's Dj Smallz suckas) is going to b creating a mix of da hottest joints from both da Cookout & Afterparty.
i've also been working with a new talent. her name is Monica. her voice is strong ya'll. very strong. we working on her mechanics, but she's a ball of talent. she's already on 4 joints on da Afterparty, n i see her doing more moving forward. very fortunate to have come across her.
there's no slowing down ya'll...so it might be anotha lil while before i update da blog....
but things are getting done n progress is being made...

are BLIND...or WELL, WELL "paid.". that Chauncey Billups "charge"...NO...Ariza wasn't even set. GREAT playoffs, the WORST officiating i've witnessed in a LONG time. takes away from da moment, from da spirit these dudes are going at each otha with. bogus shit.

NBA playoffs, Raging Bull pack, The Cookout, May/ June shows...
word? it's already June!? well, few days left in May n counting...but ya know...that blur that just happened, that was da month of May flying by...:)))).
it's been very enjoyable watching da NBA playoffs this yr. few coming out parties, few "am gettin too old for this shit" going out parties, lol...Boston without KG aside, da 4 best teams in da NBA remain, battling it out for da trophy. Denver tied it up last night, 2-2 with da Lakers. If Denver would've played mistake-free bball, there's a possibility da Nuggets would've swept da Lakers by now. they've had a chance to win every game, n you can't say that about LA. Kobe's on sum otha shit rite now...yeeaa, he's BALLIN...but where's da next teammate in line, stepping up...Pau? Lamar? Trevor? no one else seems to wanna claim that 2nd cannon spot on LA's team...da uncertainty is evident. still guessin it'll b LA tho, with Kobe ballin like he is, Denver vulnerable to mistakes...u understand...:))). out East, LeBron is anotha example along da lines of da Kobe one i jus discussed. i think da Cavs are maadd overrated. wont be surprised if they get past Orlando...but Orlando looks strong n consistent. long as that trey is falling...if not...all bets r off with them.
i'll stick to da Cavs n Lakers tho...can't bet against either's leader...not rite now....lol.

Will from Memphis has sent me sum verses, very dope shit. Cinema (LB) came in, did his thing. Aura n Pulse (OC) r coming in, along with Clever, doin they thing. am xcited about the project, different feel to it, from anything i've done...which i can't wait to share. things will really pick up within da next 3 weeks....

got quite a few shows on deck, shits lovely...i personally LOVE rockin, feel me. we rocked @ Tannin's in SJC, South County...Malone's (my backyard), Airliner (this coming Sun, 5/31) n then da following Fri, @ Martini Blues in HB on 6/5. been havin a lot of fun, bringin wut we (cats rockin wit me, that are featured on stuff) do, to different locations. da reception has been very good. at times, i've kinda noticed people that don't understand wut we do, wut i do...but not every1 lives this, day in n day out...i understand that. i certainly hope, we continue providing da people a GREAT show...GREAT music, n mos def GREAT vibes. there's a place inside music, where we live...where we breathe n create da art from. it's a beautiful place man...beautiful. jus enjoying it, as i for one...don't take a thing, for granted.

Foamposites, Bulls/ Celts, Hatton/ Pacquiao, Beatlounge Radio, The Rebate, The Cookout n more....

me? am kinda excited, lol, i got the blue Foamposites...uhh, kinda hard to find, kinda. for my heads that know, they KNOW. paid a pretty penny (pun intended, lol) but oh well, risk was worth the reward, ;). thinkin about that Raging Bull Jordan pack, still haven't decided, i know i gotta act quick tho, those joints are gon'a go QUICK.
speaking of Bulls...this Bulls-Celts series has been SERIOUSLY, some of the best basketball play'd, i seen in a while. how do 4 of the 6 games go into OT, n it not be one of the best 1st round if not series' period, eva play'd. DOPE, dope, dope shit. Derrick Rose has grown up, in this series. Noah too. the will of the Celts is amazing, too...they playing how many men down?!? Big Baby hitting those 16, 18 footers has really put his game above average. a pleasure watching. game 7 is going to b some shit, can't wait. what a great weekend...
speaking of which, Hatton vs Pacquiao. i think it's Pacquiao, i think he's stronger (puncher) and has bettah mobility, which results in bettah D. weekend, NBA playoffs, sneakers, new hair clippers...

hope ya'll doin well. am feelin good, strong. n as always, CREATIVE.
takin a second to check in wit da blog. my weekend was coo...recorded, wrote, ate good...shop'd a lil. highlight of the w/e was gettin more memory in my laptop. went from 2g to 4g, n uhhh...let's jus say my mac took steroids, lol...mos def notice the difference, as i should. very pleased. i had coconut shrimp last night, wit leftovas from LoneStar. assume it hit da spot, n u dead on!
love this time of yr, like i've said before...bball is top notch round this time. the Bulls-Celts matchup is turning out to be great great basketball. seems like the Bulls are growing up n makin adjustments on the fly, Coach has em playing great. need to show a lil more maturity tho, cause those T's can cost ya a game. Chauncey Billups is BAAALLLIINN...which leads me to say, the point guard play has been really really on point (pun intended, lol). at least from Chauncey, Rajon, Tony & Derrick...
Detroit doesn't look like they even wanna be out there, wish granted, byebye. the Jazz are playing the Lakers well, but not good enough. San Antonio needs to get young n healthy QUICK...or their decline could last longer.

Project Blowed OC, NBA Playoffs, new beats, taxes....
aaayyyoooo! dat new Red n Mef shit is tight. Sauk onda hook...i've always liked Saukrates. if u ain't up on his older stuff, drink a cup of egg yogs (lol) n get on dat! did ya'll see dat Rock the Bells lineup, DAMN. should make for a really dope show. in all likelyhood...i'll c ya there!
Project Blowed OC, it was dope. came across this cat named Sahtyre (hope i spelled it right), show'd em love. if u haven't seen or heard from this cat, n u enjoy dat battle shit, get up on em. i respect his sword (lyrics), n i think his voice is really unique. if he learns how to make records, he's got a bright future. seemed like a humble cat...wish em well. Nocando rocked rite b4 i skated...respect due. it seems like the cats associated wit PB b puttin in work, at least u see em inda trenches, gettin busy n reppin. i RESPECT dat, which is why i went out last night n supported. overall, the vibe was dope...ran into some people i knew, neva a bad thing when ya roll up somewhere by yaself. OC needs to step up tho...wish i would've seen more of my local peers there...i wouldn't mind rockin @ Leonardo's either...set up is tight. soon, am sure. big big shout out to da bartender, for not chargin me dat 3rd Heine...WORD...:))).
am maadd READY for the playoffs. my FAVORITE time of yr in sports...i LOVE basketball. so much, i don't really got a favorite team...i enjoy the high level of play u don't really get to see during da regular season. my pick...LeBron's playing on sum next level shit...Kobie n da Lakers have been pretty damn consistent all yr. i honestly see those 2 in the finals, IF, KG isn't near 94% healthy. jus give us a great series (n playoffs) n i'll b straight...:).
Dj Win (France) sent me a lovely, lovely beat yesterday. it's got a lil 9th, lil Premier (chop'd da shit outta dat sample!) to it. i really like how he structured it, the drums sound crispy too! i wrote a hook for it yesterday. gon'a call it Roll the Dice. on some, get up, stand up shit...we gon'a make it shit! props n respect to mistah Win, he's got some SHIT up his sleeves. i'ma lace dat hook this weekend...prob write my verses too. linkin up wit him was a very, very good look. i get a lot of love from cats in France...Germany too. my mans Clever Conduct has been providing me sum next level shit too! this dude can b a beast, when he's focused. lately...he's been focused! the West gon'a luv wut we got coming...THE COOKOUT, summer '09.

wus da happs ya'll? i feel good. i was out in SD ova da weekend, stay'd in downtown wit my lady friend, ;). i was refreshin, gettin away a sec, from Orange County. did a lil shopping, hit up 5&A Dime (i see u Jay!), the Attic (bboooo! lol) and the shopping center they got rite there (it was straight, good sales, coo peoples) in downtown.
5&A Dime, my dude Jay up in there was maadd coo...we chop'd it up a quick sec, n kept it moving. i didn't buy anything, i actually came bac n cop'd some belts n a jacket, cause i didn't wanna carry the bag during da day. drop'd em off a copy of FunkySoulFresh...hope he gives it a spin. i really liked this boutique...good vibe, good peoples, good merchandise. all in all, i'd come bac.
the Attic, the one in Buena Park is official. the one in SD, umm...it's aaiiitteee. i wanted to cop a watch, am checkin it out...hit a button, the watch spazzes out. am like, yo what's wrong wit this, shorty peeps it, says, i don't know...hands it to duke @ the counter (who seemed like he didn't wanna b there, lol) n he says da battery is dead, n turns around n continues on. word? aite, i'm straight then. do u wanna offer me a discount, or perhaps a new battery? maybe that would've made the sale go down...
