been MIA...keepin it funky tho...
always!
lotta things going on...sum personal, other, music related. am workin on 3 projects, rite now...The Transatlantic Tape wit PLB, Pangea (next solo joint) n last but not least...doin every beat off Liquid Swords, lil mixtape, callin it, daSwordsman. i'll b droppin these, in dat order. starting in March, wit Transatlantic.
on a personal note, i feel good...am in a comfortable space...not comfortable enuff (EVA) to get complacent. but there were things, dat were a lil outta wack...had to get sum things in order. n i feel bettah than eva, in dat sense.
back to da projects...aftah Transatlantic, am droppin Pangea, right around summertime. Pangea, is gon'a play out like a movie...9 (cycle of birth) tracks...3 chapters...movie$h!t. am about, halfway wit it...Transatlantic, is about, 82% completed...am in overdrive, to get this done, by da end of this month, latest.

The Afterparty, NFL, Pangea & Transatlantic projects, sneakers, street wear...
yes yes ya'll!! DOWNLOAD my latest project, featuring up n comers from all ova, France, Memphis, of couse Cali's inda house...
THE AFTERPARTY!!
NFL season is well underway...my Bills, maann...at least we won this past weekend, but yyooo...can we get it togetha! let's beat these weaker teams, then we on our way...am not sure about Coach Jauron...we'll see. Vick who? Favre's how old?!? T.O. who? Ravens, Pats game was a good one, this past weekend, Saints are scoring at ease, Redskins aren't scoring at easy...rite now, am going wit Saints, Vikes inda NFC, AFC, i'ma take...tough one...Broncos, they need to show me a lil more, although that D does look official. Pats, and...Steelers...Broncs, Bengals...n a few other strong, but not dominating teams need to come togetha a lil more, before we count out da bulls from these past years.
as u may, may not know...jus wrapped up The Afterparty, which is my 9th project, since 05/07. since then, i've made many connections, with mcs, producers. i've elevated my sound, every project. mix my own sh!t, seen my mixing get better....all in all, it's been a work in progress. is, a work in progress. as i head into my next projects, i continue to expect nuttin but da best from myself, n those i work wit. Pangea, my next solo project...sh!ts gon'a b deep. storytelling, social commentary. a lil more serious, content wise, in comparison to say, Cookout or Afterparty. a project like that, is needed rite now.
Transatlantic...that's me n my mans, PLB. i've spoken about him before, he's from France...16 yr old, wit maaadd talent yo. we gon'a do a quick 8 track project. lil serving, for now. we're talkin about doing a full length project...that's all i'll say for now, lol.
expect both of these projects in 2010.
onsum fashion sh!t, DOPE ass kicks droppin from every angle! Dj Clark Kent's Dunk drop'd recently, i was able to cop...sneakers are soo damn clean. very dope job by Kent. JB droppin Space Jams, red & white 12's, black & varsity red 6's...SB's, dope colorway Blazers, sum coo high's coming out too...
am feelin sum Flights too, Laker & Knicks colorway, G sh!t rite there!
10Deep is an impressive brand. their tees, they aaiitee...they outerwear, shorts n button ups, whole 'nother level from da rest. Hundreds still comin strong, although i feel they've lost sum of that aura. Undefeated keeps it clean, fresh, salute them. Supreme, is Supreme. always has heat on deck. am feelin a new brand, not sure how new onda scene they, but, their name is The Wild Ones. am feelin their tee game rite now. Mishka drop'd sum ill ass flannel button ups, but, from Mishka, that's all i was really lookin at.
damn, i need a looooonng bankroll to supply my fashion habits, taste, lol....i mean LLLOOONNGG, lol.

WTF are you up to?!?
Rock the Bells, working on The Afterparty, working on The Transatlantic EP, saw the Wailers kill it live, coppin new kicks....etc, etc.
i've been in da lab (my crib, lol) gettin as creative as i want! ha! things are soundin right for The Afterparty. i'm lookin forward to sharing it.
i've been gettin heaters from Pulse, Clever...they bringin they usual A game. i've also been in touch wit PLB (France) in regards to The Transatlantic joint...he's been sendin me beats, ideas. u'll see Transatlantic later this year. it's all Afterparty rite now.
following up the Afterparty, we gon'a do a mixtape called The Hangover, in which my mans, Dj Smallz (OC's Dj Smallz suckas) is going to b creating a mix of da hottest joints from both da Cookout & Afterparty.
i've also been working with a new talent. her name is Monica. her voice is strong ya'll. very strong. we working on her mechanics, but she's a ball of talent. she's already on 4 joints on da Afterparty, n i see her doing more moving forward. very fortunate to have come across her.
there's no slowing down ya'll...so it might be anotha lil while before i update da blog....
but things are getting done n progress is being made...

Joey, forget all dat bullshit n jus make dat dope music...everything else is not even necessary. Slaughter is tight, they bring it...but where's da identity...dat's wut's tough about jus gettin togetha n sayin, let's call ourselves a group. cats dun came up togetha, have history, earned they stripes as a group. Slaughter n those vicious rhymes gotta find dat chemistry. which i personally think, comes with time. if they do...then, yea, lookout!!

sad shit. these two dudes seemed well rounded. yes, they had demons...we ALL have demons. weaknesses. real foul, dirty shit from those ladies.

dude is a monster. an agile monster. i think anyone who steps in da octagon wit em, bettah have they strategy ready. if he continues to improve n polish da otha parts of his arsenal...hhmmm...u tell me? lol...
i worked feverishly on THE COOKOUT this past weekend...knoc'd out Well (hip hop) Done n da intro, Thoughts of a Cookout. really like da intro, how it came out. Clever provided da soundscape, did his thing wit that joint. i'll b in Vegas this weekend, 7/18-19...before takin off, am gon'a give ya'll THE COOKOUT, 7/17!! kick summertime off, RIGHT!!

GREAT performer. all in all, GREAT night.
